Core Sound is pleased to offer M-Audio's 24-Bit, 96 KHz, 4-in/4-out PCI
Digital Recording Interface with MIDI. With software support for both
PCs and Macs, the Audiophile 2496 is among the highest fidelity sound
cards available today for musicians and home theater usage.
The
Audiophile 2496 card is the latest addition to Midiman/M-Audio's Delta
family of soundcards. It's an all-in-one high fidelity sound card
solution for a wide variety of applications, ranging from multitrack
recording to computer-based home theatre. Analog I/O is available on RCA
jacks. S/PDIF I/O and MIDI I/O provide connectivity to both digital
devices and the world of MIDI. The Audiophile 2496 includes a powerful
digital mixer/router.
M-Audio regularly updates the software drivers. They are posted to
their Web site. Search "Support"
for the Delta-series drivers. The drivers are compatible with almost
all the audio software that's out there, including ProTools.
