M-Audio makes two fine two-channel digital audio interface cards: the Delta DiO 2496 and the Audiophile 2496. The
Delta DiO 2496 is intended for the digital audio enthusiast who doesn't
need analog inputs or Midi and who need both coaxial and optical digital
inputs and outputs. The Audiophile 2496 card is intended more for those
who need analog inputs, Midi and who usually need only coaxial digital
inputs and outputs (you can add optical I/O with the M-Audio CO2.
(The Delta DiO 2496 is only a bit more expensive than the Audiophile
2496 and is equally as easy to install and use.)
