Core Sound is pleased to offer M-Audio's MicroTrack 24/96, a handheld 24-Bit, 96 KHz two-channel digital audio recorder. MicroTrack 24/96 records to Compact Flash flash memory cards or microdrives. It has two microphone pre-amps, Line level analog inputs, an S/PDIF coaxial (RCA) input, analog Line level (RCA) and headphone (stereo miniplug) outputs, 48 Volt phantom power and separate linput level controls for each channel. It has a USB 2.0 interface, and a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.
It can record high-resolution, uncompressed WAV files in both 16- and 24-bit formats at sample rates from 32 to 96 KS/s. It can also record MP3 files at 96 to 320 kbps. While recording it allows monitoring via headphones and the Line outputs.
Since MicroTrack 24/96 has an S/PDIF coaxial input, you can use our Mic2496 dual mic pre-amp/A-to-D converter to provide true 24-bit dynamic range and much lower distortion & noise. The two units can easily be Velcroed together to make a compact recording system.
MicroTrack 24/96 is supplied with a copy of Audacity recording software for Windows PCs and Macs.

A $50 deposit will guarantee current pricing and reserve your place on our order list. Your deposit will be refunded (minus PayPal fees if any, if PayPal is used) on request. When MicroTrack 24/96 is ready to ship, we will contact you for payment of the balance.
Please check our current price via our on-line ordering system below. (M-Audio's minimum advertised price for the MicroTrack 24/96 is $399. Our current price is significantly lower.)
Coaxial S/PDIF cables with two RCA plugs are priced at $15 for a 3-foot cable and $18 for a 6-foot cable. A three-foot coaxial cable with one RCA plug and one right-angle 1/8-inch (3.5mm) miniplug is $30.

Shipping:Within the continental United States, shipping and handling for the MicroTrack 24/96 and up to four cables is $9.50. Next Day Air shipping within the US is $28, and Second Day Air is $15; please add $3 for West and South. Shipping via U.S. Postal Service Air Parcel Post to Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia is $26 and $16 to Canada. Shipping via US Postal Service Express Mail to Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia (typically two or three day delivery) is $34 ($38 for two). Shipping of up to four cables alone within the US via USPS Priority Mail is $6.00. New Jersey residents must include 6% sales tax.
Payment: Payment is via credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), personal checks, money order (available from the Post Office or bank), traveller's cheques, wired funds, cash or certified check, US funds only. Please allow some additional time for personal checks to clear the bank prior to shipment. COD shipments are available in some situations -- contact us for details.
