The
MobilePre USB is compact and powered through the USB cable. It makes a
very compact and low cost microphone front-end for your laptop or
desktop recording setup. Its dual A-to-D converters provide two
channels of good sounding, 16-bit digital audio to your PC or Mac at
sample rates from 8 to 48 KS/s.
The MobilePre USB offers a balanced XLR input for each channel, two
level controls offering up to 40 dB of gain, signal present and clip
indicators for each channel, a stereo 1/8-inch unbalanced input, a high
impedance stereo input for two musical instruments, zero-latency front
panel headphone monitoring with level control, switchable phantom power
(true 48 Volt DC) and dual line level analog ouputs.
