There are three common connector/media formats for digital audio
interfaces in consumer electronic products: RCA for transfers over
75-Ohm coaxial cable, Toslink (a square plug) and 3.5mm Miniplug (a
round plug) for most transfers over fiber optic cable.
Core Sound is pleased to offer S/PDIF 75-Ohm Coaxial cables in three
stock lengths: 3-foot, 6-foot and 10-foot. We also make up custom
length cables -- please contact us!
We use only the highest quality .125"-diameter military-spec
teflon-jacketed and impedance-controlled coaxial cable. Compared to
common coaxial cables, our cables are considerably more flexible,
lighter in weight, and easier to hide. Our RCA connectors are
gold-plated, very durable and rugged.
